Pain within the body can come from muscle, joint, neural disfunction, or perhaps a combination of sorts. Any imbalance in one area will influence the function of another. We offer an abundance of methods to consider. Trigger point dry needling is a precise and highly individualized method of restoring function. This method of treatment shows tremendous success in practice with a wide variety of injuries.
Upon thorough evaluation performed to the injury and the source of pain we provide a more accurate approach in the application of the needle.
Occasionally, pain can be caused from an overused muscle at the location in question or as a the result of unconscious compensation elsewhere in the body, due to muscle strength imbalances. In both cases dry needling can provide relief.
The needle can be used to release tension in a specific area within the muscle tissue.. Each needle works as a sort of key to the locked-up location whether it is in the muscle, tendon, or nerve. Applying an electrical current to an inserted needle will work to contract a targeted area of muscle that has become affected. TDN can strengthen the muscle and connecting nerves within the tissue.

A hands-on approach is used with most of our treatment sessions to lessen pain and increase healing.
Our team conducts a thorough assessment each visit to better determine the cause of pain and limitations. There is usually an underlying dysfunction in one or combination of tissues which causes pain. Muscles can borrow from other areas to support an area of discomfort or weakness. Different types of tissue from the outer skin, to deep down in the nerve can create a different sensation. Examples of abnormal sensations include numbness, burning, tightness, ache and/or stiffness.
Applying pressure and sometimes guided movement to the target muscle creates a more focused healing within the tissue. This response allows the body to be used to its optimal level without borrowing from other areas and in turn restores function. Our team works to treat the underlying problem, and not just the pain.

Vestibular disorders can refer to numerous diagnosis such as positional vertigo, lack of coordination, neck tension induced dizziness, concussions, and many more. There are many interventions and treatment protocols that can be used to reduce and/or restore function to our balance system. The treatments for each case are unique in their delivery and specific to each patient.
Our team works together to find the underlying mechanisms that need to be corrected and develop a treatment plan. These plans include practical tools that can be used in many different settings to reduce or alleviate dizziness and unsteadiness. Treatment for balance issues is another part of our convenient “at home” concierge service.

Pain can be the result of dysfunctions within the nerve, muscle, and/or joint. When a joint has become stiff or immobile an outside force can be used to restore function.
Physical guided movement of the bones, and their corresponding joints allow for a reduction of built-up pressure and can provide relief from pain. Sometimes a movement is not the cause of the pain, but rather a sign that the body went past its limit. Orthopedic therapy can create a foundation to build upon and provide long-term relief.
We also see patients before surgeries to return to function sooner and after surgeries to restore function in a quicker way. Our approach of easing the body into helpful movements will accelerate healing and lessen pain.
Whether there was an injury, unknown cause of pain, or surgery, our team of movement experts will work with you to determine the cause and provide you with tools to reduce your pain.
